The 18th Korea-China-Japan Joint Symposium CSE2020
August 25–28, 2020
Grand Hillston Hotel, Jeonju, Korea
The 18th International Symposium on Carbon Saves the Earth: The Development of Commercialization Technology for Carbon (CSE2020) will be held at Grand Hilston Hotel in Jeonju, Korea, from August 25 to 28, 2020.
Traditional carbon materials are one of key materials bolstering our civilization and industries. Further developments of the traditional carbon materials should guaranty a great improvement of our future life and industry. At the last CSE symposium held at Jeju, Korea in 2011, therefore, we proposed “Development of Commercialization Technology for Carbon” as a subhead of the symposium name. For consecutive research and cooperation, we would again like to inherit main interests of this time symposium to be “Developing applied technologies of carbon”.
The symposium covers areas of (1) Raw materials and precursors for traditional carbon materials, (2) Petroleum- and coal-related science and engineering, (3) Application of traditional carbon materials for energy science and engineering, (4) Reconsideration of traditional carbon materials based on nano-carbon science and technology, (5) Carbon fibers and their composites, (6) Porous carbon materials (e.g. activated carbons), (7) Graphites and their derivatives, (8) Conversion of carbon resources, and (9) Other carbon materials (e.g. new carbons and nano-carbons).
To facilitate active discussions and to obtain fruitful developments, we are planning to invite special lecturers from industries. Moreover, for vitalizing our special symposium style, we continuously make an emphasis on plenary and keynote lectures together with poster presentations.
We really appreciate your great passions and supports, and welcome your attendance to the CSE2020. Close cooperation of three countries’ carbon specialists in academe and industry must surely bring in fruitful results.
